A tool to help determine which learning model each building will be using

Based on a two-week cyle of positive COVID-19 cases both in Polk County and in each building

May need to be adjusted at any time based on staff and substitute teacher shortages and/or unanticpated outbreaks. See below for all considerations.
Learning Model Matrix Review Dates
The Matrix will be reviewd on a two-week basis. See schedule below

Important Considerations:
- Plan may need to be adjusted due to staff and/or substitue shortages
- Plan may need to be adjusted due to an impact on total attendance
- A school closure may be accelerated due to a significant, unanticipated outbreak
- Number or quarantined students/staff are not factored in this model and could cause a shift
- This model can be applied by building or district-wide depending on the situaton
Other Updates:
- District will no longer email letters every time we have a positive case. We will send this type of notification every two weeks. For weekly updates please view the Distrcit's Dashboard that will be updated every Monday.
