We have an exciting NEW look to the OIS parking lot! To accommodate our everyday safety needs with morning and afternoon pick-up/drop-off, we designed the parking lot with an easy to follow new look:
3 vehicle lanes designated for morning and afternoon pick-up/drop-off
1 bus lane designated for school buses
Crosswalk across the entire parking lot ensuring safe arrival to the main entrance for students
This parking lot design guarantees visible direction, increases student safety and supports our OIS staff members as they supervise in the morning and afternoon.
Parent/Guardian Pick-Up
We have a secure entrance at OIS and do not allow parents/guardians in the main office or entrance for after school dismissal.
All parents/visitors are encouraged to remain in their vehicles and wait in the holding area for dismissal (soccer field parking lot).
Buses will begin loading at 3:00 pm. Staff will be supervising all students waiting for pick-up in the gym. When the buses depart, we will bring students outside- this should take place at approximately 3:05 pm.
Please wait in your vehicles until the buses depart and we will direct you in a lane for pick-up.
